An organization that has a sustainable system begins with a proper and flexible infrastructure that easily adapts to change. The infrastructure of a company is its employees. At NLI, we believe change begins with the individual. The individual has the opportunity and power to ignite change if given the proper tools to enhance their skills.
COVID-19 halted all types of in-person training, but in turn paved the way for a new concept of online training that was beneficial and important to individuals and companies alike.
Our 2021 conference series gave our participants a chance to reflect on their talents, knowledge, and experiences by covering important topics such as Generational Leadership, Digital Transformation, Women in Leadership and the Future of Oil and Gas, presented by top authors and professors from world-renowned universities such as Imperial College Business School, London Business School & George Washington University. The success of the NLI Conference Series 2021 inspired the theme of this year’s conference series which is ‘Remaining Relevant’.
Remaining relevant is not limited to one topic or area of expertise. It encompasses a larger vision that takes into account not only technical skills required for relevance at the workplace, but also, soft skills and emerging concepts that are needed to excel in the modern business landscape. Thetopics for this year’s conferences were chosen with this in mind, and they range from digital transformation to mental health and wellbeing.
The topics are also in direct correlation with the Kuwait 2035 vision which aims to transform Kuwait in every aspect - social, economic and political. This makes the next 5 years crucial for the implementation of this vision as they will serve as its foundation. We believe this will contribute to the Kuwait 2035 vision via the topics we have carefully selected for this year’s conferences.
Our goal is for all our attendees to walk away from each conference more informed, enlightened, and open to new ideas, conversations and structures that will no doubt impact their businesses in the very near future. Change begins when we acknowledge what is hindering our growth, and that begins with courageous discussions.
We hope you join ours.
